1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect and why

When you email us

If you write to tache.oana@gmail.com or message us on Facebook, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and, if it leads to one, to discuss and carry out a project with you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Visiting the site

Like any website, our host processes technical data needed to deliver pages and keep them secure — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not track you across sites, and cannot identify you — visits are counted using a short-lived anonymous value that is discarded daily. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Videos

Our videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play on a video. When you do, the video is served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google receives your IP address and technical data and may store information on your device under its own policy. Legal basis: your consent, given by choosing to play the video (Art. 6(1)(a)).

3. Cookies

medialike.ro sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising technology, so there is no cookie banner to accept. The only way a third party can store anything on your device is by you playing a YouTube video, as described above. Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and press articles take you to those sites, which apply their own policies.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Google LLC — email (Gmail) and video hosting (YouTube).

Both may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence only for as long as needed to answer you and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and any period the law requires us to keep related records. Hosting logs and analytics data are kept by Vercel for the limited periods set out in its own policies. We don’t keep data longer than we need it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that happened before. To exercise any of these rights, email tache.oana@gmail.com. We’ll respond within one month.

7. Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority — Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us at tache.oana@gmail.com.
