1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Medialike Production. For anything related to your personal data, write to tache.oana@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

The contact form, email or Facebook

If you use the contact form, write to tache.oana@gmail.com or message us on Facebook, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. The form sends your message straight to our inbox through Resend, our email delivery provider — it isn’t stored in any database or added to a list. We use it only to reply and, if it leads to one, to discuss and carry out a project with you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Visiting the site

Like any website, our host processes technical data needed to deliver pages and keep them secure — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not track you across sites, and cannot identify you — visits are counted using a short-lived anonymous value that is discarded daily. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you accept the cookie banner, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which sets a cookie and records how visitors use the site — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, plus device and browser information — to help us understand and improve it. Clarity masks text and form input by default. It only runs after you accept; declining or ignoring the banner means it never loads. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time — see Cookies below.

Videos

Our videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play on a video. When you do, the video is served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google receives your IP address and technical data and may store information on your device under its own policy. Legal basis: your consent, given by choosing to play the video (Art. 6(1)(a)).

3. Cookies

medialike.ro sets one cookie, and only with your permission:

• Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap analytics. Only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Decline” or close the banner without choosing, this cookie is never set.

Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookie. The only other way a third party can store anything on your device is by you playing a YouTube video, as described above. Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and press articles take you to those sites, which apply their own policies.

You can change your mind at any time — the banner remembers your choice, and you can reopen it here: Manage cookies — or clear it directly in your browser’s cookie settings.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Google LLC — email (Gmail) and video hosting (YouTube).
• Resend — delivers the contact form’s message to our inbox; it does not store or list your details.
• Microsoft Corporation — session-recording analytics (Microsoft Clarity), only if you accept the cookie banner.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence only for as long as needed to answer you and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and any period the law requires us to keep related records. Hosting logs and Vercel Analytics data are kept by Vercel, and Clarity recordings by Microsoft, for the limited periods set out in their own policies. We don’t keep data longer than we need it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that happened before. To exercise any of these rights, email tache.oana@gmail.com. We’ll respond within one month.

7. Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority — Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us at tache.oana@gmail.com.

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
